Can't get a data stream out of my dad's ODB2. Computer is assumed bad! Used three different scanners but will not interface. Went to ford and they told me it's probably it! Now to the question, does the new PCM that we will install need the old E-Prom pulled out and reinstalled or is there no E-prom to install? Does the PCM or ECM need to be flashed by ford or is it a plug and play? Thanks, Bryan

 

The OBDII port is powered off the same fuse as the cifar lighter. Check that fuse.
