My g/f has some phobia or something that drives her crazy when the little chime in her '98 Mustang goes off. She will shut off the car before she opens to door to avoid and and now is resorting to going Dukes of Hazzard style through the drivers window! I thought it would be a great idea to permanently kill this thing for her so she's not killing her IAC & starter. Anyone know where its located and where I can cut the lead for it?

in my ranger i just found the little black box that would ding and disconnected it with no side effects.. except when id leave the lights on and battery would go dead.
