Changing Green Cluster/Button Bulbs to White?

Has anyone done it yet? I am looking into changing the glow from my gauges and dash buttons from green to white to match my Pioneer AVIC-Z2 navi system. I assume they are just bulbs - but just looking for a little insight before I tear it all apart.

stock cluster already has white bulbs in it. It has a green plastic film just behind the numbers

Are the light for the window buttons the same? I wanted those to be white, or are they a light, or the film like the cluster?

They are LEDs. There is a thread in here about a user switching from green to blue - its no small task to say the least, but it is doable.

just to reiterate what patman is saying, the actual buttons in the switches are white arrows, with a green LED, the extact opposite of the cluster know that i think about it, kinda stupid.

anyway, i have done the LED change, i went from green 2 green, just to replace the stock LEDs with ones that should outlast the truck. if you have experience with a solder iron, youll be fine.

I did the simple dome light change to a 12x12 square board and I see Ford is very horrible when it comes to changing lights. I had to take apart the hole thing and file a square shape into the stock mount and hard-wire the wires individually! 30 second job (claimed by oznium) took 45 mins! Looks good tho.
