im workin on rewiring my extra reverse lights into auto through a relay but i still want to be able to have them on when in park. can i use a on/off/on SPDT rocker switch like this,
power from reverse-----one side
power to relay----------center
power from battery-----other side

or do i need a different switch

I've been looking at this and im sure it will work . With the switch in the up position everytime your reverse lights are on the aux. lights will be on . With the switch in the down position . Power from your battery will also close the contacts on your relay . In turn turning your lights on . Sounds like a good set up. I like the way you think . Anyone could just throw in a single pole toggle switch . Your way is much better . Lets us know how it turns out.

The parking light wire comes from the main light switch and is a Brown wire.
