Exclamation Blinkers

Blinkers don't work when I tilt my wheel down, Used to only be at the lowest setting but now only work all the way up. Went to the to try to get harness but they said $530.00. Does anybody know what color wires I can check? Also is there 2 for each side?

possibly, but ive heard the up and down, could eventually pull wires out of contact on the back of the switch

edit if the brights work both directions i would assume the switch is okay
and were you pricing the entire wire harness, or just the colubm segment?

My old 98 Explorer did this exactly. Turned out to be the wiring harness on top of the steering coulmn. Turns out the plastic locking tabs broke off allowing the harness to separate when the wheel was pulled down. I put a cable tie around it.

I took it all apart hoping it was something that easy. I was hoping that I could check them one at a time to find the bad one. But there are like 50 in that cluster........
