White Night back up system

Has anyone installed one of these kits on thier trucks. I got one for Christmas and haven't installed yet. Looks like it will be a close fit for the reciever pin when removing. Here is a link to thier website, www.whitenight.com

It was about $100. I orderd a plug that plugs into the lights and then into the 7pin trailer plug. This way I don't have to splice into the wiring harness.

I know (or used to know) a guy that had them.... LOVED them! It's next on my ever-growing 'list' of junk to get for the truck. Forgot to ask Santa for it this year.

I'll post some pics after I get the plug. I've been looking at these for a while. I can't wait to see how they work, especially when backing up with trailer.

Works Great! People now know when I'm backing up. Great for night time use. I gave one to my son-in-law;noproblems backing up the bass boat at night on unfamiliar boat ramps. Now if my daughter could back in a straight line......

This is a nice set up. I've had them working for a little while know, and really like them. With tinted windows, these lights light up the back real good.

This looks like a great idea. I have to do some measuring on the 02 to see how it will fit. I'm wondering how you have room to put a locking pin behind it? It looks pretty tight. Did you try putting in your hitch?

It is a tight fit. I bought another locking pin with the key opening facing downward to make it a little easier.

Question

I wonder how hard it would be to mount an old fog light up under the bed/bumper for the same purpose? I'd want it to come on with the Reverse lights.

Anyone tried it??
