Cool Blue Interior Lights!!

I changed my climate control lights to blue and it took about 30 mins... only problem now is that the light isnt evenly "distributed" for all the selections on the panel. In other words the defrost sign isnt as bright as the AC sign. Then i blacked out the red for heat so its only blue lights now. I actually saw a picture of a Lightning that inspired me. Does anyone have any little suggestions....? I can explain how I did it if any one is interested..

You posted a few months ago, ... but

Figured I would see if you are still foolin with your interior lighting. I have some info to trade with you already...

I have replaced the LEDs for the interior controls for windows and locks. They now light BLUE! AND... they are much brighter.

I am still looking for a cheap headlight switch so I can learn how to properly disassemble it.

Then I will tackle how the lighting is set up behind the temperature controls (perhaps you can clue me in?)

Thanks...

If anyone is interested, I have some pics....

OK That Works....
So Basically I was Able to easily un-solder the onld green LED light and re-solder an brighter blue LED. I plan on upgrading the headlight Switch next. Hopefullt that comes apart a little easier.

I will try to get some nightime pics soon.

I did the exact same thing to my truck, I have the same distribution problem as you, but I think it looks cool.

Cool sorry so long ...

Its been forever since ive been able to mess with my truck due to work and paramedic school.. but the thought has crossed my mind about attempting to change the cruise control lights but i wasnt sure how risky that was going to be.. i havent had a chance to research it. oh LOL and the whole changing my window switches busted the crap out of one of them cause i so irritated i just pried it the same way you did and i actually had to replace 1 of those switches but that was an easy 2 dollars the local U-PULLIT yard. but just FYI if you do get interested in getting into the cruise control lights.... the airbag module is behind the floor vent plastic in the trany hump .... let me know if you did it already cause i would still like to attempt it....
