Wiring to Fuse Block - HELP!?!

Wiring to Fuse Block - HELP!?!
In a few short days, I'm going to be attempting to wire my new power sliding rear glass into the fuse block and I'm needing some help...
Can someone give me a 'play by play/how-to' on how to wire into the fuse block? I'm not electrically stupid but, I am challenged and any help, no matter how petty, is greatly appreciated.
I know which fuse that I'm supposed to tie into (#30 - Ignition Coil) but, I have no clue how to do it as the directions are very vauge in this section.
HELP!!
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate the help...

Has anyone tried these:
http://www.crowbarelectricalparts.co...useholders.htm
Bottom of the page... called FUSE TAP ADAPTERS...
If so, where can I get some?

RockPick,
I have used those tap connectors before, as well as the double stack fuse holders. Both work great for what you need to do.
The double stack fuse holder is a fuse base, that you remove the one in the fuse box, and then plug in the stack, one position in it is for the fused circuit that you took the placement of, the other is for the new assy, which has a butt connector on it. I think it is called a Add-a-Fuse.
The other option is to add a fuse panel to the truck, that uses keyed power to activate it.
The one I used on my motorcycle is the power plate.
http://electricalconnection.com/powe...ion/pplate.htm
The universal one, would allow you to run a HD wire to the battery, then the relay is hooked to keyed power in the cab of the truck. 6 locations, 30Amp rated.
This is actually really nice, as you could put a DPST switch for the power to the relay, which one side is the keyed power, the other is direct battery power, and be able to run things either way ( on or off key ), by selecting a switch.

Just a few ideas, but longer story short, yes those will work, and you should be able to find them at AutoZone, along with the fuse holders for the ATC style fuses, if not the web site price is not bad..
Good luck in your quest...

Folks, Thanks a million for all the insight and suggestions... I really appreciate it...
JMC, VERY VERY good thought. I'd never considered doing that but it makes total sense. I couldn't begin to tell you how many times I've shut the truck off after arriving at a destination and realized that I left a window open but, by having not opened the doors, I could roll them up with simplicity.
The truck is a 2001 King Ranch and definately has power windows. Anyone know what fuse the windows are tied in on?

Rock,
Is it a SuperCrew or a SuberCab? If it is a SuperCab you might be able to fit the window control panel with the four window switches, from a Screw, into the place that you have the one with the two switches.
Regardless, I do not have the 2001 EVTM so I can only show you the 2000 wiring. I have to look it up so I should be back at you sometime tonight.

I had a thought...
I just went and bought the stock switch (which, ironically, is the same switch as a Ford Contour's power window switch). I'm planning on mounting this switch immediately next to the 'Pedals' switch on my SCREW...
The harness that I snagged with the switch has the following wires:
Black/Black - Small guage
Yellow/Purple
Purple/White
White/Purple
Orange/LtBlue - Small guage
White/Purple
Yellow Purple
First, can anyone desypher what each wire does?
Secondly, could I simply splice connect the wires that run to the Pedals switch and get my power and such for the window off of that circuit rather than tying into the fuse block??
I would never expect to have to move the pedals (which I never ever do) and run the power window at the same time thus, would it work? Thoughts?

RockPick,
I looked in y CD for this info.
The switch harness does not seem to match the one for the Latiat, unless they gave you the harness from the contour, rather then from the F-150.
I have a boat load of jpg files, can I jsut email them to you, rather then posting them, and the posting the URLs.
Thanks

SSCULLY,
Yeah, I have the 2001 CD as well. The harness that I have IS off of a Contour and DOES NOT match the pedal schematic. It's the same switch with the same # of pins but, doesn't match on wire colors...
Surely they wouldn't do something different inside the switch?!?
The schematic that I pulled off of my CD has the following
Pin 1 WH Pedal Backwards
Pin 2 DG Power
Pin 3 BK Ground
Pin 4 BK Illumination Ground
Pin 5 LB/RD Illumination Power
Pin 6 BK Ground
Pin 7 RD Pedal Forward
The harness that I have is as follows:
Pin 1 WH/PUR
Pin 2 PUR/WH
Pin 3 YEL/PUR
Pin 4 BK
Pin 5 OR/LB
Pin 6 WH/PUR
Pin 7 YEL/PUR
I do see a correlation. Especially on the Illumination Ground and Illumination Power Pins. They're both smaller guage wire and, I had a hunch that they might be illumination.
Any thoughts?
