HI!... As most of the older members here know, Mike Troyer has been tuning my trucks for over 15 years. The `Danger Ranger`currently needs a new tune due to mods and I can`t get a hold of Mike. Everytime I call the shop I get the answering machine, or the machine is full and can`t leave a message. This has been going on for 2 months now. I even have his personal phone number and same exact thing. Did Mike get sick? or has Troyer Performance closed down? This is very frustrating. Mike has all my tunes for the truck and knows exactly what has been done. I`d hate to now go to another tuner and have to start all over again.

 

That'd be awful. I have a TP - programmed SCT for my ex's F150. Loved his work.

i figured that Mike had just moved on and was concentrating on work done in his shop or repeat customers.

Back in the Day Mike was the man, I have seen 2 here that seem to get good results, 5 star and mpt. But i agree it stinks to have to start over when you know that mike has the files and knows your likes.

I don't face book , but a google search show their face book page and it says they are moving offices , be patient. hopefully you just caught him at a bad time.

 

If you need to get in contact with them try email. I emailed them and got a reply within a few hours.

 

Was through Covington a few days ago and noted that the big sign at his shop was no longer there. I wondered if they were moving or what???

 

HI!... Well it's been 3 months of trying every other day and still can't reach Mike or Anita. I don't know whats going on? Now all the phone #'s on the Troyer Performance website are no longer working. No answer to any emails and just noticed his FB page is down now to. What the hell. I need Mike to finish my current tunes. This is extremely frustrating. It bothers me not to know what is going on. I've known Mike for 15 years. Not knowing if he's ill, or gone out of business, of heaven forbid passed away. Would just like to know. I'm starting my 4.0L SOHC custom turbo set-up soon and need him to tune it. If I can't get him I don't know who else to try. Mike has been the only one to tune my vehicles forever. Mikey if u happen to read this Please contact me.

If anyone has any scoop please let me know. Having met Mike and Anita, I just hope everything is OK.

He was a huge influence on this forum in getting the tuning (and tuning forum) started for a lot of people.

 

HI!... I'm not 100% on this, as I have heard the same thing from several different sources, but apparently Mike has become very sick and Troyer Performance has shut down. Again this is hearsay and I have no facts to back this up. I hope it's not true. I've known Mike and Anita for over 15 years. I've tried calling Mike's home # several times now and only get Anita on the answering machine. I left a message several days ago for her to please get back to me so we all know whats going on. If Mike is ill I hope he has a speedy recovery. Our prayers are with you Mike and Anita.

i had a feeling something was wrong because i knew that him and Neal used to talk alot. Mike seems like the type of guy that would love to pick-up the phone and catch up with an old friend.

I am always interested in how some people like to cut-off the world when a problem hits and others hang it out there for all to know.

Mike, I hope and pray for you.

 

Hopefully no one is waiting for tunes or parts that were already paid for.

 

Anyone find out what really happened? We had our differences, but I would never wish any bad will to someone's health.
