Edge Install question
I agree with Blue, if it isn't broke don't break it by updating the software. I did the body shop route and had them spray it when the painter was doing a bunch of small parts. Plus there is no mess and if they screw it up they will fix it.
This update seems to cover a lot but only a little for the 97-08 f150's......
As log as the op doesn't have any custom tunes from php it isn't going to hurt to keep the unit updated....

This update will add the average mpgs to the pid display menu selection for the 97-08 f150 trucks and that's about it......now for the 09-10 f150 it adds tcm control which the older trucks don't have.....and finally for the diesel it fixes some module communications errors and screen freezes......goto the other makes and models of vehicles and there are other issues the update fixes.....

I'm certainly not "updating" my CTS. I can live without an inaccurate Avg MPG readout and a "Mileage Coach".
(I find I just drive my truck the way I need to to get where I'm going.)
