If there's no "about" window in the Predator, just let it update if it wants to. And, on the Diablo website, there is likely a date shown with the latest firmware/software revision.

(This ain't "rocket science".)

well i got it installed. I didnt see if it showed what version it was. I was just to excited to test it out. I did the 87 tune and what a difference. The bottom end power is way better. feels like a new truck. It shifted so hard and fast into second it sounded like it made my tranny make a little squeak. That sort of worried me expecially since its a new tranny. But i am extreamly happy with it. Way more power

Glad you like it. A tune makes a worls of difference. The squeak you heard may have been the belt slipping. That is common and if it gets too bad, get a Gatorbelt.

The squeal might be your belt slipping. Mine did it on hard shifts before I switched to a Goodyear Gatorback belt.

The first time mine squeaked, it was going hard into 3rd gear and I just about **** a brick.

It will show the version on the menu screen after it boots up.
