Once you get tuned, you won't ever be satisfied with stock. The Level 2 should help you with towing the boat.

THIS. Are you getting custom tunes?? I've been running the canned tunes in my CS Gryphon for the past three weeks. VERY noticeable difference. My custom tunes are due by the end of the week.

I ran the Edge canned tunes for about 30,000 miles and thought I was satisfied. I have had PHP tunes for the last 55,000 and would hate to go back to the canned almost as much as I would not want to go stock.

My Evolution woke up my truck big time! I have been driving stock for the last month while my Edge is converted to a Gryphon. My truck acts like it was sedated without my programmer. Its just about unbearable... Just got news last night that my Gryphon is on its way with my custom tunes. It should be here tomorrow.

My Edge was like putting in a whole new engine. I can't wait to see how my Gryphon compares!

I got a custom 87 towing, custom 87 performance, and custom 91 performance program written. I'll keep you posted how it all works out...

My 87 Perf tune is about what Level 3 was on 93, so I have the performance on the cheaper gas, but the biggest difference was the downshifting. So much better. It will downshift at almost any speed now.

I listened to guys telling me how much better the custom tune was for a year. I kept telling them that the Edge tunes was all I needed and I was happy. I finally got tired of hitting the throttle to pass and it not downshifting when I was 55-65 and got the custome tune. I was wrong, there is a lot of difference.

Yes, that is too cold. needs to be in the 40s at least and make sure the battery is fully charged.

Not at all.

Run the truick up to operating temperature. This will warm the PCM.

Hook up a battery tender. This will ensure adequate electrical supply.

Turn off all extraneous loads.

Grab a frosty ( not hard in this deep-freeze, lol).

Flash away

i like the grey look of the evolution better than the black gryphon so i went with that. i'm using the canned tow tune to get my boat up to virginia from florida then shipping off to korea for a year. i will send my evolution in for a custom 87 perf and gryphon upgrade while i'm gone. i'm hoping i should have it back within 12 months then it's off from virginia to vegas. When i install this tonight.....how long will it take to go from factory to the level 2 tune? does it take hours or something? i noticed a few of you say to make sure your battery is fully charged etc....
