2007 4.6L f150 with Gotts/DWV mod?

You don't really need to disconnect the battery for the Gotts Mod. If you want to erase any adaptive learned values though, just turn on your headlights after you disconnect the battery and turn the ignition key to ON, which will drain any capacitively stored power out of the system. Five seconds would be enough, but turn them BOTH back off before reconnecting your battery to prevent a big spark.

I have a 08 stx running 285/70/17 with hypertech programmer and wouldn't get 15 mpg if you dropped it out of a effing airplane

im now getting close to 19 as long as the hwy is lvl my avg is about 7.8 7.9

That's a bunch of crap. My 07 4.6L got around 16-17 average when I bought it and now, I've put a k&n filter with true ram air, 22" wheels to increase the rolling diameter and raise mpg, a throttle body spacer and an electronic fuel reg system on it and it gets around 20 average now. On a long straight drive, around 25mpg..

The 4.6l gets 2 mpg.better mileage than the 5.4l that's why we have to do these upgrades cause we are getting 69 less hp.
