Gryphon vs Edge

Hey guys, I think the time has come to buy a programmer. I've settled on either the edge or the gryphon. Is the Gryphon really that much better than the edge or is it not worth it? Thanks!

I have had the Edge and it was a definite improvement over stock. Once my Edge was TRANSFORMED to a Gryphon my truck was TRANSFORMED. My performance went way up. I have 35" tires and am still getting on average of 21 mpg's on on the freeway and and 16-17 around town. Well worth the pennies in price difference. Bill and Cory are great people to work with and they actually care that you are happy with the final product! I have all 87 octane tunes-

Performance
Tow &
Economy

Once I received the tunes I told myself I would try them all but I just can't seem to take it off the Performance tune Go with the Gryphon, you will not be disappointed.

Hi.

I believe GLC said 'look' (as in 'search' perhaps), not just double-post ...

*** Summary? Well worth it - even the Gryphon's CANNED tunes are superior to the Edge canned tunes. ***

BUT - also remember - it's a Personal choice - a LOT of folks are very happy with the standard Edge and will never want custom tunes. It is up to you, at the end of the day.

The good news is, with the Edge as a starting point you can take all the time in the world to think about the possible upgrade later, if at all.

Keep in mind that, yer truck ('05) likely has pre-existing lean conditions, so running a canned perf tune may be risky, as this can exacerbate same. Get yer A/F's measured to be sure (it's the only way to be sure, as you cannot tell otherwise, and the lack of a CEL means nothing). Going custom alleviates that concern.

If you're looking at the monochrome versions between the evolution and the Gryphon, yes there is a difference.
The Gryphon's canned tunes are tweeked and also it can have custom tunes.
