Clarification, I`ve read past posts till my eyes bled!!

I`m thinking of buying one of the edge (programmers?) Evo CT or the CTS.

If I understand correctly you buy a programmer and either download or send your programmer to PHP, Gryphon Troyer for the "custom tunes"?

Let them know the mods on your truck already?
Purchase mods after you get your "programmer" back from being custom "tuned".
OR.....
I`ve read too much into this to the point, I`m freakin paranoid to pull the trigger and do this.

Buy your tuner directly from PHP. There is an extensive and detailed form to fill out. Tell them all the mods you have and are planning (immediate) if you want custom tunes. Most people that have intake and exhaust mods will want custom tunes.

They will ship you the Gryphon and you can use it while they write the custom tunes.

They will send you an e-mail when your custom tunes are written. You will update your Gryphon (custom tunes) using Pegasus. If you add mods (performance, not wheel/tire - unless dramatic, or suspension) later, you will have to pay for new custom tune(s).

You can only have 3 custom tunes. Most have a 87 performance, 87 towing, and 93 performance. However, you do not have to have three custom tunes; you can have 1-2 custom and 1 canned.

Look at all the stickys on PHP's forum. http://forum.gopowerhungry.com/

Good luck!

Thank you Shotgunz!!

I`m going to send a e-mail to Groovy chick and wait for her to get back to me.
Sounds like they have alot on their plate at the moment, and I have nothing but time. Thanks again.

Yes, to the "distractions" at PHP right now. But, you may want to wait anyway until they get the go-ahead to custom tune the CS and CTS. I don't know when this will be, but it shouldn't be too much longer.

Like Jack stated it might be awhile.
Thank you for being patient and understanding of what's going on at PHP.
