While the edge is a great product, and it does give you noticeable gains... There is really no replacement for pure displacement. I have the 4.6 as well and am very happy with it. I have added the edge and am now saving for gears, something you might look into. I have 3.55 gears and will probably go with 4.30's or 4.56's. Gears are usually a less expensive way to go and in most cases will make up for lack of big displacement power.. IMO...

I agree, I think regearing will give you what you need at a much lower price than an engine swap. I'd be a little careful though on how high you go in gears. Bill Cohron at PHP told me Ford's torque control strategy can actually limit the power you have available if you use too high a gear ratio. I'd suggest stepping up the gears no more than 2 steps, and those two steps will probably increase your TC locked RPMs by about 4-500 at 65 mph..

So I wonder if 4.10 gears and custom tunes from php would do the trick. I wish I had found a set up with 3.73's, I am running 3.55's on 33in tires. My edge helped but dono how much ur trying to get out.

The throttle body spacer does nothing for an injected engine. Total waste. The CAI needs a custom tune to get much benefit from it. The Edge is for stock intakes. If you want the most out of a CAI, get a custom tuned Gryphon or maybe an Xcal3. You would be paying a big price for a small gain if you put the CAI on with the Edge. The Edge by itself will help a lot. About 20 hp and a lot more low end torque. A custom tune would be even better.

I think 4.10 gears would be a good choice for you. I don't think I'd go any higher than that.
