I just switched back to level 3 last night. I also play with different brands of gas. Sometimes I run Sunoco 94 and make the appropriate adjustments (+3 timing), and other times I'll run V-Power from Shell. I put the zero ethanol V-Power in last night and left the timing at zero.
My last 2-3 tanks were run on level 2.
You're not an accountant are you? We don't like change that much!

Would you mind posting all your Level 3 settings? I also have a Gryphon running canned tunes and would like to get the most i can out of it while I wait for custom tunes...

FWIW, these are my settings. I started out by using Bluejay's settings from when he had his Edge, but I've adjusted them slightly for personal preference.

Speed limiter- 110
WOT gas- 1.30 for 87 octane level 2, and 1.60 for 91 and up octane on level 3
Shift firmness 1-2 (10), 2-3 (10), 3-4 (8)
shift points 1-2 5250, 2-3 5250, 3-4 4800
rev limiter 5650
timing- depending on octane bump half a point per octane count (87 octane on level 2 and 91 octane on level 3 leave at zero since thoe levels were tuned for that octane)

I think that's it.

when switching from level 2 to level 3, do you have to have the tank completely filled with 91+ or can you have like a quarter tank of 89 and the rest 91?...I'm tryin to avoid the potential knock or pinging...

I never have it completely empty. I don't like to run mine that low. I get it to just below 1/4 of a tank.

lvl 3, 93 octane.

1-2 WOT shift 5100rpm

2-3 WOT shift 5100rpm

3-4 WOT shift: 4800rpm

Max rpm: 5600

speed limiter: 200

timing: 1.5

and for display i have RPM, MPH, AVG MPG, and Engine Load PErcentage displayed.

Never tried a 1/4 mile run but my best 0 - 60 was 7.26

Thanks last5oh_302 and DarrenWS6. I usually drive around with the 93 tune, but haven't changed any settings other than bumping up the shift firmness and removing the speed limiter. Might have to try some of these...

Gryphon Level 2 with canned tunes, adjusted max speed to 125. I have yet to mess with the timing and shift points. Tried level 3 twice but not enough to say yea or nay. I know Bluejay swears/swore by it, but I did not experiment too much yet. I must say though my max speed was 120 and that was not fun to hit, so I bumped it to 125.

Yes. I called tech support, and they advised you run level 3 because of the higher octane.

I'm running level 1 for a while. I was towing all day Saturday, so I changed it to level 2 for the weekend.

You really need to bump the timing at least 1.0 if you are running 93 octane. The program is for 91.
