What kind of special somethings do we Canadians get?

Also is there an ETA on the metric unit update? I might as well wait to get my gryphon for that release if its going to happen soon

Same for you, Mitch. Give us a shout and we can give you the details on what's involved in getting the update.

Currently we have 5 customers running the Metric update and I'm waiting to hear back from them and verify that everything is displaying correctly. I can't see why it wouldn't be, after all it's just math.

Take care.

Bill-

What guarantee do I have that I will be able to get new tunes as I upgrade my truck. A friend of mine has a lightning and had custom tunes installed then upgraded his supercharger and injectors and then had problems getting his tunes emailed to him. These guys didn't return any of his emails for weeks now...and his truck sits....I use mine for a daily driver...he has other vehicles.

I suppose I have to say, "In life there are NO guarantees". But, if you do business with Bill and Corey at PHP, I and a whole bunch of others on this forum would be willing to bet pretty much anything you'd care to name that you won't be disappointed.

I see it as a matter of integrity with Bill and Corey. As long as they're breathing, they're going to be there to support us.

You're new and have no way of knowing the history of PHP. Bill used to work for Edge, before going out on his own. He came on this site a year or so ago and on his own time, without charging a penny, started assisting those that were having issues with their Edge and could get little or no help from Edge's customer service. He went so far as emailing them "fixes" when it called for it. This paid off for him in the form of a loyal following on here, and when he started selling custom tunes, many have purchased them. With the large number of customers he has, I'm sure there has to be one or two that have been dissatisfied, but for the life of me, I can't recall one. I agree with Jack and can't imagine a situation where Bill will not be willing to sell you an upgrade in the future, should you need it.

Another big vote of approval for Bill & Corey at PHP. I had my Gryphon here in Canada within 3 days of ordering it online. Bill also listened to demanding people like myself when we asked for our choice of a combination of metric or U.S. measurements when he added the metric code to the Gryphon about a week ago. That's a really nice touch for some of us who are lost in metric/U.S. limbo. I'm running the Gryphon with a combination of each (kph because that's what the signs say and mpg because I have no clue what l/100 km. means) and they work great.

And even though ignorance may be bliss, I am thankful that the Gryphon threw a P2006 DTC at me. There was no Check Engine light warning so I would never have known that the IMRC was stuck shut otherwise. Apparently the IMRC actuator needed replacing.

As far as custom tunes turnaround goes, I can't vouch for it (I only just ordered one) but I know that a little patience is often required to get the best. Bill's just one guy and there are a lot of us.

You might want to make it in the "nearest" future - They've got a sale on right now that can probably save you a few bucks. See their website: www.PHPTune.com for details.
