Anyone hear from VMP recently?
I emailed him and asked him to readjust my tunes because I didn't like the feel of the TQ. He responded and asked about my tire size and gear ratio and I responded immediately, that was a month ago and nothing yet. I didn't follow up though until this morning so we'll see how long it takes to hear back, but usually he's pretty good about responding.
Guess now people are seeing why Troyer's wait times are long. The more popular your product is and the more people you have standing in line wanting it the longer you're going to have to wait to get it.

Yeah I have them both as well. Ordered the Troyer tunes over a year ago and was very happy with them. Ordered the VMP tunes a couple months back for comparison purposes. I am still trying to make it down and get it dyno'd, but something else keeps popping up and stopping me from making it.
customer service has dropped severely in the last month or two.....ive been trying to get him to look at a data log for well over a month after 3 emails i called and left a message and no response to any, then sent a new email (not a reply to our previous messages) then he finally responded to that email about 2 weeks ago saying he would look at it but no response since
o and the reason for asking him to look at my tune was a severe drop in power at high rpms to where even wot it would slow down, and threw a code when it did that..........needless to say i swapped out my vmp tune for my previous bama tune

Hey Guys, I have been very busy these past 6-8wks with buying a new house and getting it ready to move into, and also and setting up a new shop. The shop is going to have a dedicated dyno room with ventilation, AC, and noise control, so it has been quite the engineering project, but it will be badass once its done.
If you a question about the status of an order, or if you are even waiting on a reply to an email, feel free to call me or drop me a line, as long as you quote a name and order # its pretty easy for me to look up and get taken care of as necessary.
Thanks for your patience.
Oh, and BTW, I WISH I only worked 4 days a week at my business, its more like 7-days a week. When you own a small business you have to put everything you have into it and more to make it successful.

I can vouch for that he was returning my emails at 11:00 EST, I told him to go to bed!
I have recieved a response email from VMP within 48hrs everytime. And the last time he emailed me a new tune on the 19th Like he says though I have included contact info along with order number everytime.
(And you're so totally right... small business = major hours = 7 days a week. Glad you found some time to get the personal stuff done, too. We're still trying to figure out how to balance it all!
)
Congratulations, Justin! How wonderful to hear all the great things happening for you and your family! We're just tickled!

The thing I notice about both PHP and VMP, is that you both seem to make customer satisfaction a top priority. Actually, I suspect we ALL see that! And Justin, even though I don't have one of your tunes, congratulations on the new house!

Hopefully when I get back into town.

Trying to get my 87 & 92 performance tunes set up differently with the torque converter issue. At about 45-50 mph I'm dropping alot of RPMs and HP and the truck is bogging down, which I don't really like. I have to mash the accelerator to get it back up to speed and if I'm climbing a hill it's even worse.

I've emailed a couple times this week with no response, I understand you're probably pretty busy with everything though. I'd call ya, but I'm all the way out in Hawaii and by the chance my schedule is clear enough it's too late your time, unless you're answering the phone after 5PM your time. Thought I'd drop a line here since I see you are replying to F150forum posts.
