A huge spark sure sounds like a fuse blowing event to me!

Cool! (It's nice to guess right for once)!

My next guess is, you have not lost anything. Once the PCM is programmed by your programmer, it "holds" that program until it is reprogrammed.

Plugging your programmer in for driving simply lets you use it as a set of auxillary gauges. It is a "monitor" only. The PCM settings will not change until YOU use the programmer to change them. (This is more than just a "guess" - I'm 99.99% sure of this)!

Glad you have your Edge back!

Back again about my edge. So i fixed the problem with the fuse. Now my programmer shuts off and a blank green screen displays. I tried to unplug it while the truck is off, I do as it says but as soon as i turn the key over the screen is blank again. Its everyday i have to do this. the other day i did the same as i always do and a blank RED screen appeared. freaked me out a bit so i turned my truck off waited a couple minutes and started but the edge was still just a blank green screen. Sometimes its a blank green screen other times it say evolution and other times it works great. Should I call edge on this one? what do you guys think?

My display went out last week and yes, it was due to a blown fuse! I have my XM Radio powered from the cigarette lighter. Changed blown fuse and all was well!

Heat WILL effect the display in these screens. I've not had that problem though. In an earlier post, you describe what sounds like an "intermittent" problem and I have no knowledge to help you here.

Possibly, Bill may have some suggestions. But, he's pretty busy right now. I think I'd be bugging Edge for a fix. Sorry I can't be more help.
