Thats awesome. Diesels can be fun. My buddy just got a 6.6 duramax and he has intake, exhuast, and EDGE power programmer on level 7 and with that Allison trans it hauls ***. he can spin them through 3rd gear (33" mudders). He says 500/700 to the ground.

I wonder what his quarter time is. I bet its damn fast.

I bet. I'm pretty sure all Justin's has is a tune so it's pretty impressive.

LOL

All I can say is that I was as anxious as anyone to get my tuner/tunes from Troyer.. this was the Xcal2, so no device shipped with canned tunes, had to wait for the device that had the tunes loaded.

Yes, the wait sucked ***, but it was worth it if only for the smile I still remember when I first loaded the 87 perf tune and took her for a spin around the neighborhood...

I'd hope that y'all all know that Troyer works on project vehicles during the spring and summer and that his working on OUR tunes gets pushed back. Sucks, but that's how it is.

I think he'd be wise to train some folks to handle the tuning jobs while he's involved with his projects.

The wait times some of y'all are having for basic tuning are about unacceptable.

I'll say that Mike's tunes are freakin' incredible, I love mine, but 3 months or more is crazy.

I'd like to see him post a response to some of this on here. I think these gripes deserve answers.

Maybe he could do something like Corey is doing at PHP. He could post an invoice number or tune request date or something like that on his website to show which person's tune he is working on.

If he keeps it up to date, it would also show the "progress". I think the thing that really drives people up the wall with the "wait" is not knowing what's happening. It's kind of like a Windows program that seems to "stall" with no "progress" bar to tell you it's just having to work a bit to get what you want.

Surely, this would not be something he would have to do himself. It should be a fairly easy thing for whoever maintains his webpage to do if he just gave that person the information.

Some of you who are in constant contact with TP might suggest this.

I’m not pushing, I’m serious, you should review your posts to refresh your memory of how many times you have called people names, including me; I’m tired of it and I got a burr in my saddle over it

And to clear up the thumpe comments, thumpe is part of your screen name and it is not uncommon for part of a screen name to be used in a reply

What about Jap? Since those letters are in his name, you just scramble them around. It's okay though.

I’ve only seen people use the first few letters or the first half of a screen name in posting replies. I never saw anybody take a screen name and make an anagram of it, but it’s doable if that’s the new wave, but I hope not

That seems to be the case. I purchased a AF1 from TP and the shipping was quick, the product was flawless. I did have one concern and called and never recieved a return call. Some members here answered my question for me though. Seems like the finished result is always good but the waiting has got a bit rediculous. From what everyone says he is clearly a nice, knowledgabe guy but just has too many irons in the fire for the sort of delivery time most expect.
