Still waiting ???
12 weeks (and counting) here...have been calling them weekly, and the answer is always the same: "Looks like it will be another 8-10 business days."
I think I'm gonna ask for a refund.
To hell with 'em. My truck runs pretty dang good as it is.

K guys what is the longest wait for tunes that you have heard of or experienced??? I'm on week 12 with Troyer and getting the run around from them.
So while I sit here mad I thought I would ask you guys what the longest wait for a custom tune was.
Just trying to kill time for the next week or so.

I ordered March 11th
I ordered the 3.5" AF1 and XCal3 with custom tunes on March 19, 2008 and faxed the datasheets back on March 20, 2008.
I got the intake and XCal3 pretty quickly but am still waiting for the tunes. That puts me at 11+ weeks and counting.
I had to send an email inquiry before I got an update, but Crystal did get back to me right away........10-15 more business days. This will put me at 12-13 weeks assuming they meet that delivery.
BTW, my truck is completely stock except for the AF1 I ordered with the tunes.

I am a Troyer fan, Mike is a great guy, but 12 + weeks is getting ridiculous. Yes he may be the best in the business but is he that much better than VMP or others that you are willing to wait another 8 + weeks? I am not sure I would want to wait that long. At least everyone knows there will be a wait from the start though.

I've been told 10-15 business days twice now.
I don't understand you, you just keep on pushing and pushing. However when I give you what you want and that's me giving it right back, you'll get emotional and upset. I never make up stuff or lie when I post, it just happens to be something you don't like about someone you love. Just let it go and stop acting immature by calling me "thumpe", etc. It doesn't bother me one bit but it does annoy other members. I'm not saying I'm innocent so don't go there but just let it go, okay?
Thumper, just stop replying to him. It really is rediculous. Let it go jpdadeo. Everyone knows you support Troyer. Everyone knows Thumper supports VMP. What makes you better than him? For one he didn't even suggest anyone else. All he did was suggest CWCobra go with another tuner (never name dropped anyone) since he is unhappy with the service he is receiving which is completely understandable. Anyone who tries to argue that is a moron. If you're not happy somewhere... go somewhere else.
A side note, I just received my tunes from Troyer this past Friday. I'm very happy with them. Took 16 weeks for me to get them. They called me a week prior to receiving my tunes with a question from my worksheets. They needed a bit more info on something and I couldn't readily supply them with that because of my work schedule so one week is my fault. I knew what to expect going in. I've read the forums. I went with Troyer for the experience he has and the wait time worked for me since I had stuff planned that I wanted to get done and ready for the tunes during that wait. I spoke with Anita and she was very apologetic. She had said that a lot of projects and R&D had come up and some other issues that needed to get worked out that took priority. Honestly, I feel that the mass customer base should take priority over a couple of customers or projects but like I said, it all worked for me anyway. If I had to do it again, depending on when I wanted the tunes by, I might go with VMP. If time isn't an issue, then Troyer it is only because I feel more comfortable with his experience and knowledge of our trucks. As a comparison, VMP and Troyer (not leaving Bill/PHP out for any reason, just comparing) may yield very similar results, but I just feel better knowing Troyer's experience. If it was a tune for anything other than these trucks, then I'd probably look elsewhere.
What does VMP specialize in anyway? Anything in particular? I don't know anything about them.

I think VMP does more mustangs than anything else. Troyer has been doing F150s forever, he's done like 8 thousand 04+ f150s or something. pretty crazy.
