If Justin had the same kind of demand that Troyer gets, and did all the project vehicles and other stuff that TP does, his waiting time would be the same amount too.

hes VERY busy. And if you ever do read his posts, they are lengthy and very explanatory. He probably doesn't have time to post like that right now.
Agreed, for a few minute tune (if thats really what it takes) 2 weeks is still a long time. I understand work backlogs but at what point does a 10 week turnaround on a purchased product become bad customer service and warrant upping staff or trimming orders?

Agreed but Justin is the only one who runs VMP Tuning so that's what attributes to a 2-3 week waiting time. Not to mention he has a new born baby which takes up a lot of time. I don't doubt that Troyer might have a few more customers than VMP but it's not THAT much more.

I'm not so sure about your second paragraph. I've never seen any project vehicles of Troyer's. Got any links? Justin has three project vehicles of his own. A GT500 that has 700+ rwhp, a 2000 V6 that is turbo'd running amazing 1/4 mile times, as well as a 05+ Mustang V6 with 400 rwhp. Justin also does a TON of shows including a TON of dyno days, where he has to travel and haul the mobile dynojet.

You sure do know quite a bit about VMP. How much do you know about Troyer? I think you are assuming a bit too much and don't actually KNOW how many customers Troyer has or VMP for that matter. Please don't assume and write things that may or may not be correct.

For the record, I have no clue how many customers either one has nor do I care. I would still select who I think is best for me.

Awhile back, VMP advertised that he was #2 SCT dealer, and he was. But it discourged other dealers, so VMP can't advertise that anymore. I seriously doubt Troyer was #1, against places like JDM, SHM, Saleen, etc...

And just remember that VMP will buy back your used SCT devices for store credit, customer or not. Troyer was WAY against this and almost put a stop to it untill VMP made it for store credit and not towards the purchase of a SCT LW device.

And who got the LW devices first...VMP did, Troyer didnt get his untill almost a week later.

Jumping back in time, it was for 2006.

See here: http://web.archive.org/web/200705150...tore/index.php

Images will not load, but read further down the fron page.

VMP is SCT's 2nd largest custom tuning dealer for 2006

it’s not that at all; it’s a bunch of jerks bashing, and trying to get a rise

It is like sports, some are cheering for thier favorite team.

If it was football; Troyer would be the Buccaneers of 1976. (New window, www.google.com, Buccaneers of 1976, search)
