To the OP - I've had two trucks tuned by TP, been to his shop and on his dyno 5 or 6 times over the years with both trucks - ( dyno days - stage II package install ). Mike even road tested my truck after the dyno pulls with a latest tuning R&D change last June 07. The throttle response on this latest tune is fantastic ! I have no "CON's", nothing but "PRO's" with these folks ...

If I buy another Ford in 09, I will be visiting them again to tune my 3rd Ford.

I just want to say I hate all of you. I have been waiting very patiently as I have other stuff that has to come first anyway, but after reading all of this I can't help but get a little antsy. The 14th will be one month into my wait.

How long does it usually take to get Troyer or a VMP tune? I thought I saw about 8 weeks for a Troyer and 2 weeks for VMP?

Love my Troyer tunes! The power is amazing but the way it shifts now is AWESOME...it flows so smooth. If I get another Ford you can bet I will have troyer tunes.

Correct. VMP will take about 2-3 weeks, some people have got their tunes even sooner.

And Troyer will quote you 8 weeks on the phone. Some people have received them even later.

Awesome. I was just going by what I and others have been quoted and what I've seen a lot of people say as far as how long it has taken.

pro to me is that he nailed my tune mail order perfect, only took one pull on dyno at one of his dyno days to back it up. only con to me is that hes 10hrs away from me and the mail order wait is long. would love to be closer.
