Do yourself a favor and just get troyer tunes. nobody in CA can dyno tune to nearly what troyer can do.

Yeah, my issue is that with a troyer tune I will not be able to have it "properly" tuned on the dyno; althouhg, I know it's possible to have a poor dyno tune also, that's why I'm seeking a really good tuner with these trucks.

Yeah I'm out here in Los Angeles area. Anaheim is not far either. It seems that socaltuning tunes with the diablo? Diablo pretty good?

Dude,

Keep in mind that a tuner is only good for storing and delivering your tunes. So a "really good" tuner is useless if your tunes suck. Most of these guys that do custom tuning usually specialize in certain vehicles. So if the guy you find just happens to do mostly Honda Civics for "The Fast & The Furious" crowd, just keep in mind that he may not be the most qualified person to tune your truck. I too, had thought about finding a local tuning shop with a dyno. But in the end, I decided that Troyer was my best bet.

Good Luck,

How rich was too rich? What was the combo? What was he a jerk about? I know him very well and he is the only one I would trust out there.

Another vote for Swanson Perf

Yeah, so are these the only tuners around here (so.cal)? And if I go with a Troyer, do you guys really believe his tunes will net good/safe HP without a dyno!?
