Do you think its worth getting an xcal2 for my 2001 4.2L Manual tran. or is it just worth it for automatics?

Give Troyer a call and see what he can do for you.

05supercrew I got my XCAL2 on 10/22 faxed sheets 8/29 I hate to do this to ya cause I know your about to go crazy waiting but it is freakin awsome. I have ran one tank of 87 performance and almost three tanks of 93 performance there is a difference but when you run 87 you are going to be blown away. Sorry to do this to you just be patient and just remember this guy M.T. knows his chit! How do you like your 325 Nitto's? Do they rub much and can you tell a big difference in power with that size tire?

I definitly cant wait for the tune. My 325s dont rub at all. My wheels are close to the stock spec so they worked out perfect. Not much power loss. I think its perfect for my set up.

I'm goin with Troyer Tunes !! Just bought an XCAL2 from a guy who sold his 06 150. Although it was a Troyer tuned XCAL2 it was one of those Harley Hauling All wheel drive 150's...Im Gonna have Troyer send new tunes for my truck via email. (After the usual paper work, etc and 6 to 8 wk waiting period...lol)

thats exactly what i did. i got my tunes this week, and i must say they are freakin awesome. the transmission feels like a million bucks compared to stock, and the power is off the charts. it just keeps pulling hard, no matter where you are in the RPM band...
