Bama's bread and butter are Stangs. Troyers bread and butter are F150's. VMP started out Stangs, added Lightnings and seems to be doing OK with F-150s now as well.

No offense to Bama/Doug, but I believe VMP is just more proficient and experienced, at least in terms of F150's (and of course 'Stangs lol!). Have you seen Justin's postings on the SCT forum - some real good reading there, and it gives you some additional and valuable insight on the fella and his capabilities.

Good luck.

Damnit, forget all those, I'm just gonna play the waiting game like everybody else. I'll have my tunes in 10 weeks
I went ahead and ordered the Livewire too.

How much of a difference in price is Livewire from the regular unit?

I think the X-cal 2 was 425, the Livewire is 599. Plus shipping and because I live in VA I had to pay 5% sales tax.

if you're in VA, why not just drive to Troyer Performance and have him tune it right there on the dyno?

Maybe later or on the next Dyno day which she said won't happen until after the first of the year. I wouldn't even be able to do it until next month anyways per their schedule.

Troyer tuned Xcal 2 ordered on 8/20/07.. received 10/19/07...

So eight weeks, low end of what I was told to expect (8-10 weeks)...

Could not be happier with the tune I've installed so far!!!!!

Worth the wait IMO...
