Edge V Troyer.

Gotta admit, I like the displays on the Edge, wish the Xcal had 'em.
Anyway, I just ordered the thing and have about 8 weeks or more to wait. Ran it totally stock for a year-and-a-half so the wait is no big deal.
Tho I'll probably be jonesin' in about 4 weeks.. LOL

I seldom have a reason to go WOT, but I did want imroved performance as the thing was a dog. I had it reflashed at the dealer and that helped get rid of the hesitation, but still a dog. Now it is just fun to drive.

I have the edge, and have no shudder issues with my truck. And it has 216,000 miles on its original E4OD and 5.4L. It is faster now than it ever was. I have been running the edge for over 50,000 miles on level 3 with no issues. I have only run about 3 tanks of high octane fuel in it. But lately I have run a LOT of E-85.

I'm presently at 216,000 miles, with about 16,000 ish on a blend of e-85 and 87 octane. Hasn't hurt it yet! Did that fix it mSaLL150?

Livewire has the guages and you can get Troyer tuning with it. Edge probably looks better with it's mounting pod though. Livewire is big, not sexy at all.

How do you know this? Unless something went wrong during programming, the edge alone is more or less incapable of causing a lean condition. Running 87 octane on the level 3 tune will cause spark-knock occasionally, mostly immediately following a rapid increase in throttle. Switch to high octane, and it will probably quit it.
