When did you send in your CPW's?

Oh nevermind, I see that you got your CPW's in on 5/4... So they're running right at a 2-month turn around right now.

Anyway I received my tunes on Friday 7/6 (10 weeks) and installed Sat. I am very pleased. I enjoy the way the trucks drives, very smooth. IMO

Anyway, your not comparing apples to apples. Bringing your truck to the tuner and getting dyno tuned vs. buying tunes via the web is 2 completely different things. I'm sure people that bring their trucks directly to Troyer get their tunes just as quickly as you did from VMP.

Is that "apples to apples" enough?

I won't say anything about the next part of your post since it's already been answered for you.

It seems he feels the need to go out of his way to bash Troyers tuning capabilities while having no personal experience with them. There is absolutely nothing wrong with giving an opinion of a product that you have actually used.

Well I am going to have to eat my own words on this one. Got a call back from TP on Moday afternoon just as promised, and was told that I would have the tunes no later than Wednesday afternoon. At about 5:30 pm on Monday I was getting ready to close shop and the phone rang and it was Mike on the other end telling me that he had just emailed my tunes and I should see them any second. Just as said they showed up and I installed them that night. So far I can tell a difference, mainly in the trans as far as the way it shifts and much less slipping in day to day driving. The big test came last night as I ran my buddy's 02 5.3 chevy. The first time we ran it was stock to stock and he beat me by 3 truck lengths. He does have 3.73 to my 3.55 but he is running 285 tires..so that puts us pretty close. Last night I had him thru first and second and it took most of third for him to pull 3/4-1 truck before we had to shut them down. Conditions were the same as the first time we ran, even he was impressed with the overall gains. Now I'm wishing that I would have gotten a 93 performance instead of the 93 tow, but I can always add another.
Those chevy's make a lot of HP on the upper end, but I still wouldn't trade him.
