Happy Edge Customer

I just wanted to say that I'm very happy with the Edge tuner so far. I've had it for almost a week now and my mileage went from 13-15 to 16-18. Im running on lvl 2 with 87 and my next fill up will Imma get 91 and test out the lvl 3 program. Just wanted to share my success story

Good to hear. Had mine for about 20,000 miles now, can't imagine not having it.

I have had mine for almost a month now and have been running level 2 with custom settings. So far I have been more than happy with it. I think I'm getting slightly better gas mileage as well. I want to try out level 3, but I'm holding off for now because of prices.

I found that running 93 octane on Level 3, I got 12% better mileage than with 87 on level 2. More than covered the difference in price.

Hey just curious....the Exxon down the street from me sells Cam2 racing fuel. It's 100 octane I believe. I don't plan on running that all the time, but just curious if I ever tried it out would it be ok to run say level 3 and bump the timing up accordingly? Anyone ever try the Edge with that high of an octane fuel?

I'm sure in theory the octane would be there BUT the CAM2 will destroy your converters. Also I believe it's leaded fuel. Correct me if I'm wrong but I wouldn't try it.

With no other mods except the Edge? I really doubt you are really getting that big of an increase in fuel mileage....How are you calculating it??

I have exhaust but its been on and i still got 13-15mpg.

As for how I calcualte it, I fill the tank up all the way, drive until my next fill up and I divide the distance I drove by the gallons I just bought. I log every fill up and on 6/04 I got 315 miles out of 22 gallons (14.3 mpg). My last fill up I got 420miles out of 24 gallons (17.5mpg). Both trips were to the beach and back

Get an intake and you will probably even notice a little bit better MPG.

I have to disagree. My 2001 5.4 Screw did almost the exact same thing. I also gained about 2 MPG when towing. From 11 to 13. I have no other changes at all. I have had it about a year now and figure it has just about paid for itself with just the Instant MPG gauge. That keeps your foot out of it. I also run #2 all the time.

Same here, ha ha, having that Instant MPG and Average MPG constantly staring at me has definitely had an effect on my right foot. Almost ready to disconnect the radar detector.
I guess I am going to have to turn off the MPG gauges so I go out and enjoy all the extra performance.
