HI!... Well guys it was pretty dead here in WINDSOR tonight! The only run I could get was against a "2000" CHEVY SILVERADO EC with the 5.3 (285 H.P?). I new it was a 5.3 because the kid had a sticker on his fender saying so. We were side by side cruising down the road. I was in the left lane and he was in the right lane. We were doing about 60km/h.My lane was clear ahead by about 3/4's of a mile. He had a minvan in his lane, about 100 feet in front of him. Well this kid decided to punch it and try to get in front of me. NOT!!! About a second after he punched it, I dropped mine into 2nd gear and floored it. We were side by side for about 50 feet and then I started to pull on him hard. He had to let off because he was going to rearend the minvan. MAN was this kid pissed!!! I kept mine to the floor till I hit about 145kph. When we got to the next light, I was up front in the left lane. He would've been next to me but he pulled into a closed store's parking lot about 300 feet behind me. He waited there until the minvan got next to me and then he very slowly pulled in behind it. By this time the light had turned green and I was on my way. WOOSY BOY!lol!

HI!... Well guys I got another victim tonight! This time it was another "99" DAKOTA 5.9 R/T, E.C, AUTO, POSI, 3.90. It was black and he had a stupid looking aftermarket checker board sticker running down both sides of the truck. Well I turned off of a side street and saw him go by. So I turned and followed him. He was in the left lane and I was in the right lane. He was about a 1/8 mile in front of me when the stoplight turned red. At the last minute he jumped into the right lane. I saw this and jumped into the left lane. We were side by side at the red light. I could tell he was checking my truck out, out of the corner of my eye. He probably heard my custom exhaust. I dropped it into 1st and waited for the green light. Well the light turned green and I left normal. He was right next to me, just about 2 feet behind my nose. Well all of a sudden he jumps on and so do I after seeing him lundge forward. I immediatly jumped ahead of him. He was still on it! I banged into 2nd (CHIRPING THE TIRES ON CONCRETE ROAD) and really started to pull away from him. About 2.5 truck lengths at this point. I hit 3rd gear and was still pulling on him. The time I hit 100mph he gave up. By this time I was a good 5 truck lengths in front of him. When we got up to the next light, I got into the left turning lane at a red light. He then went across 2 lanes of traffic to the right and made a right turn. I had my window down and pointed at him and yawned at him with my hand flapping over my mouth. MAN DID THIS GUY LOOKED PISSERD and SURPRISED!lol! Still looking for a reg-cab DAKOTA R/T!lol!

HI!... ROADRUNNER : Actually I have had one speeding ticket with this truck and been pulled over about 7-8 times. I keep getting lucky I guess!LOL! I know WINDSOR pretty well and know where you can "PLAY" and where you can't. Last night JMC and I were horsing around and when we saw 2 cop cars in a parking lot looking at us we tucked in behind a closed store. We got so busy talking that we did'nt realize that one of the cop cars pulled up behind us and used his load speaker saying "SLOW DOWN" and then drove away.lol!

HI!... Well guys I finally got to race a DAKOTA R/T 5.9 REGCAB, SHORTBOX tonight. I don't know if it was stock or not but it was preety quick. I was on my way home tonight at about 2:45A.M when I saw my buddy in his "2000" DAKOTA EC, 4X4, 4.7, 5-SPEED, 3.90 POSI horsing around with another guy in a "99" 5.9 R/T. Well when my buddy stomped on it the R/T did as well and took off on him. Just as my buddy turned to take his road to go home, I pulled up behind the R/T. I road the R/T's butt for about a block and then he changed into the turning lane to go to TACO SMELLS. As I went by him I gave him a little shot of gas so he could hear my exhaust. As I was driving away from him I was looking in my rearveiw mirror and saw him get out of the turning lane and get back into my lane. I stopped at the next red light and he got right behind me. There was a slower car in the left lane. The light turned green and I normally left. He was riding my butt until we started to pass the slower car. At about 40mph he jumped on it and started to pass me. As soon as his front bumper got at my rear bumper I dropped it into 2nd gear and hammered it! I pulled away very slightly and the top speed race was on!! I hit 5700rpm in 2nd and manually shifted into 3rd and then hit 5400rpm. He was still behind me and not gaining at all! Actually I think I was very, very slowly pulling away from him. Just before I hit my overdrive button, we were going about 110-115mph! Then we had to slow down for a red light. I switched into the left lane and so did he. There was another slower car in the right lane. Well the light turned green and I hammered it! I spun for about 15 feet and then took off. I pulled on him pretty good through first gear. We kept at it till the next red light. He never pulled on me and I very barely was pulling away from him. Now we are side by side at the red light. I am in the left lane and he is in the right. I look over at him and give the thumbs up signal. I then made the mistake of started to roll my passenger window down. It got half way down and the light turned green! He nailed it and was ahead of me about 5 feet the time I realized what had happened. I stomped on mine and flashed the converter. My rear tires went up in smoke. I must of spun for about 25 feet! When I finally got traction the R/T was about a truck and a half in front of me. As my truck started to get to the top of 1st gear he was'nt pulling on me no more. I hit 2nd gear and made up about 3 feet on him. At this time my front bumper was at his rear bumper. When I got into 3rd gear my front bumper was just behind his door. I think when he realized that I was very slowly going to catch him and then pass him, he decided to step on his brake slightly and take the on coming offramp. DAM!!! I was hoping he was going to go straight down the 401 highway and I could show him a F-150 that goes 130mph! I think the two truck were pretty evenly matched though. What does a DAKOTA 5.9 R/T reg cab weigh anyway? I figure they weigh about 3700lbs. My truck weighs 4600lbs with me in it and a full tank of gas. And yes I just had filled my gas tank 15 minutes before. I was probably giving up anywhere from 800lbs - 100lbs to him. Thats almost a full second in the 1/4 mile. I think if I had, had ASP power pulleys and JBA headers on my truck that I would get him no problem. Now I definately can't wait till I get my KENNE BELL supercharger!LOL!

HI!... JMC : If I remember right you have 265-70R16's right? Well thats the tire size I used and it comes out to 30.61 inches tall. At 4500rpm in 4th gear (1.00) with 3.55 rear gears your mph would be 115.48mph. Still 15mph short of my top speed!LOL! But still fast for a 4x4!!!
