Bill, I thought you said you didn't race.
So now that we know the "I don't race" line is a bull***** excuse when are we going to race?
Heck, you even have 12HP on me.
All in good fun.

Oh no. I'm a big ole chicken. I don't race because I'm a fraidy cat. You'll have to deal with the numbers if you want to defend your 5.4 cause I ain't dying, paying tickets, or breaking nothing over a truck.
your 5.4 = 260 hp - 65 = 195
mine 4.2 = 205 hp - 30 = 175 stock
mine 4.2 = 175 hp + 25 = 200 superchip
mine 4.2 = 200 hp + 5 = 205 k&n
mine 4.2 = 205 hp + 2 = 207 mobile one
You should by the superchip to catch up!

Dear regcab54,
Your last post was very appropriate, you can only get so much for $20K, and there is seemingly almost no end to all of the possible configurations available in these F-150's.
A lot of people have to make compromises *somewhere* in their vehicles, most of us have to. Some of us are lucky enough to be able to walk in a drop $35K on a loaded to the hilt 5.4 Lariat, but not most of us.
You do the best you can with what you have, and be grateful you have it, I figure.
Our bests to all,

The more I read here, the more I want a 4.2. Anybody out there want to buy a POS 5.4 that doesn't have enough power to get out of it's own way. I didn't think so. You people out there are way smarter than I was. By the way, I get 25mpg with a superchip running regular gas with my foot through the floor all of the time. LOL I love reading these posts for a good laugh and I hope everyone else finds this BS amusing. If you don't, don't read them. And so this thread goes on and on and on...

Well, okie dokie....I owned the 4.2 for two years, and I can tell ya it wont out run the 5.4, but ok. Whatever makes you guys happy. Lord knows this will turn out to more than it's supposed to be. 205HP, to 235 or 260. ALrighty then.......
Go out and mash the pedal on the 4.2, then the 5.4.....yeah, that's what I kinda figured....
Conditions, no matter, side to side, go a mile, the bigger engine will win. I thought this was really common sense, guess it's not.
Can a Saturn out run a 5.4? Cause when I had my 4.2 I got out ran by one.....
