Ok..that is exactly what I need..and the correct code I need (ATC2). The price is perfect.

I see that you want the flip chip... Is there *ANY* problem with the superchip you have now? My only concern is that the chip will NOT be covered under warranty for me...so this is a BIG consideration.

E-mail on the way to you...

Dear 88daman,

A lot of the guys around here have used the G-Tech unit, and it can be quite useful. It's a rather inexpensive device with only one accelerometer, so care must be taken to mount it carefully and in the same position & orientation each time you use it, or you can get bad and inconsistent results. But used properly, it can give you some nice indications of power gain and informal acceleration times. For it's price, about $140, it's hard to beat!

Thanks for reminding everyone!

Hey Dustoff,

Just so you know, if whoever you're going to buy the used Superchip from originally purchased it from us, we here at Performance will still cover the warranty on it for you. And if it didn't originally come from us, I'm sure the seller would be willing to help you to get any warranty service that may be needed, I don't mean to speak for that individual of course. Used Superchips can represent a great bargain, so we do encourage their purchase and use.

Good luck!

Question

Thanks again Mike! Would you happen to have a used ATC2 chip at this time? If so...I want it! Just let me know!!!

Despite the price of Premium going up to $1.65 in this area..there are still a few stations that offer it for $1.33 or so. I see prices going up quite a bit more before fall.

Hey Dustoff,

I bought my superchip from Performance Products Inc. so as you see from Mike's post, it will still be under warranty. And once again, no there is nothing wrong with it.

2000regcab54..

I just sent you an e-mail...but before I read your last post.

I have never had the honor of seeing a superchip..but is the computer code stamped on the chip itself?

The computer code is written in marker on a sticker the back side of mine along with another number that I have no idea what it is.

Cool

I tried the old trick of removing my chip for about 3-4 hours.........MAJOR....BIG... difference. Maybe I just have good tires. I also put in 89 octane fuel yesterday, so far no problems. Probably little less performance, but not much. Thanks for the info guys!

Dustoff----you will know how much better the truck runs the first time you drive it with the chip, it'only gets better. My truck uses the same code as your computer and I already had my chip when the one you bought was available, you are lucky to find a used one with a new warranty. As others have mentioned there is a downside, rear tire wear increases

Greetings!

Dustoff ... I have a 2000 with the ATC2 code and a SuperChip. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed with it. Very noticable power increase and much better tranny shift points. I have had no problems with it. You may experience initial drivability issues until the system "re-learns" your driving habits with the new chip.
