Hey gang!

If you have read any of my earlier posts, you may have seen me mention my favorite Saturday morning game: cruising up and down the street in front of the Chevy dealer, waiting for Camaros to pull out on the highway, and then smokin' 'em like a turkey, BIG FUN!

Well, yesterday I cruised by and was entertaining the thought of making a few passes by the dealer, especially since I saw a young guy and a salesman talking over a new Camaro.

I went on down the street and did my business and started back. When I got to the dealer's lot, out comes the Camaro and pulls up to the light.

I pulled up next to him and looked over and the salesman has this huge grin on his face. The kid wants to go, so I revved the Beast a little and dropped her back into gear. By now the light was fixin' to change and I was ready to just eat him alive, I looked over at the salesman again and now he's laughing his fool head off. Being a paranoid, I got this feeling and when the light changed, I just sat and let him go.

It's a real good thing I did. Behind the closed gas station on the oppisite corner, there were 2 Harris County Deputies, 1 HPD officer, and 1 Ft. Bend County Deputy. The youngster took off so hard, he didn't even see them sitting there as he went by. All 4 of 'em slammed thier cars into gear and took off after him.

They caught him about 1/4 mi. down the road and he pulled over. As I went by, doing the speed limit, I looked at the salesman and his grin had vanished. The kid was doing the "yessir, nosir, thank you sir" bit and hoping to get off w/a warning.

NOw, I mentioned before about being paranoid, but I seriously believe that the dealer may have called the law on me and had it backfire on him. They were waiting for the big Black Beast to come hauling across the intersection so they could nail me to the wall.

I am going to ride by next Saturday and see if they are there again. If so, then I'll be pretty sure money changed hands and it's almost certain the dealer is trying to pull a fast one on me for change (instead of vice versa, Mwahahahahaaa!)

Sorry this got so long, but I thought it might make ya'll grin a bit anyway.

Still unaccosted by the Po-lice......

Dear Andthensometoo,

Having the TS limiter removed is very nice, especially when you've got one of those that are limited to only 98 mph!

I'm glad you backed it down and were careful; speed without sense makes no sense!

I'm sure you'll find an opportunity to let it all hang out, and if and when you do, just be careful, please!

Cool

HI!... Well got 2 more victims this weekend. I have been hearing lately about a late "90's" DODGE SST that has a lot of work done to it. Sopposely it's sopposed to be dark green with silver stripes and have 3.90 gears, posi, MOPAR performance computer, lowered, K&N filter and exhaust. Well I was out cruising last night around midnight and came up on some slower traffic on a 4 lane road. Well I proceeded to blow by them all when at the last minute I saw that I went by what I thought was this truck that I have been hearing about. Well it was, and apparently he did'nt like being passed by a FORD too much. After about 2 lights I saw that he was weeving in and out of traffic trying to catch up with me when he saw that I got caught by a red light up ahead. Well this road is 4 lanes and the far left at this light is a tuning lane the 2 in the middle go straight through and the far right goes for about a 1/8 mile and then turns to the right into a on ramp for the expressway. Well I was in the far right lane and this DODGE got right next to me on my left. I could tell that he was looking at my "5.4 badge" on my fender and was sizing me up for a race. Well the light turned green and I lightly stepped on the gas about 1/4 throttle. He did the same staying neck to neck with me. As soon as we hit about 25 kph he jumped on it and seeing that so did I. We were side by side all the way trough 1st gear and half way through 2nd and then I slowly started to pull on him. But now my road was starting to turn to the right but I refused to let off and ended up going into the long sweeping 90 degree turn at about 85 mph. If I knew he wanted to race I would of got into the straight through lane. Also if I would of nailed it from a dead stop I would of had him "NO PROBLEM". I think this is the first time this guy has ever been beatin. Now I will be definatly be looking for a re-match, DEFINATLT!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- My second victim of the night was 2 young punks in a brand new top of the line "2000" PONTIAC SUNFIRE, silver, 5-speed. I guess he did'nt like my **** on a CHEVY sticker that he saw when I passed him. So he got up to a red light next to me and started to slowly creep out into the intersection waiting for the light to turn green. Well I was'nt sure if he wanted to race or not, so I left the light normal when it turned green. Well he screached his tires hard and was going "BALL TO THE WALL" on his 5-speed. As he got next to me across the intersection they started to yell out the window that FORD sucks, CHEVY rules! Well I could'nt take that so I jumped on it and got 1st gear kickdown at about 40kph, went a little sideways and proceeded to pull on him really hard. I banged 2nd gear and by the time I hit 120 kph he was about 12 cars behind me. He followed me in traffic for about 4 more miles but never tried to run me again. I was going to stop and offer him a band-aid because "THAT HAD TO HURT" DDDOOOOWWW!!!!!!!

Neal are you picking on those poor little riceburners again?
Stupid punks don't they know what a V8 is?
I'm sure daddy bought them that car.
Those little riceburners actually pull pretty good up to about 25MPH, but once they hit 2nd it's all over.

Atilla the Hun, I love it! Hey Dunbarton, if you ever talk to Neal over the phone about the street racing action in his area, you'll *know* he is Atilla the Hun reincarnate.

Be careful, Neal!

HI!... Well I got 3 victims last night. The first one was a young kid in a "90's" PONTIAC SUNBIRD, 3.1 v-6, 5-speed. He tried to run me from 3 lights with me the victor every time. The 3rd time I manualy shifted the tranny and totally destroyed him by about 20 car lengths.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 2nd victim was a brand new 2000 MONTI CARLO SS. We were both going up a curvy up hill on ramp to the expressway. I was riding his butt all the way up and when we entered the expressway he floored it and so did I. I was right behind him all the way up to about 120kph and then his car started to run out of steam. I put my turn signal on and blew right by him until I hit about 125mph and then let off. I looked back to see where he was, and he was so far back that I could barely see him but it looked like the way he was blowing by traffic that he still had it to the floor.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The 3rd victim was a guy in a late "80's" or early "90's" TOYOTA SUPRA, 5-speed. He was a non turbo. At every light he would pop the clutch and take off on anyone that was next to him. I think he thought he was fast. Well at the next light I got next to him and he slowly was creeping out into the intersection waiting for the light to turn green. Well I was ready for him. I dropped my truck into 1st gear and stalled it up to 1000rpm. With my custom SUPERCHIP my truck really shifts hard if I manualy shift it through the gears. The light turned green and with hardly no tire spin on my part I proceeded to yank on him out of the hole big time. I ended up hitting around 80mph before I let off and he was way back behind me but still trying to race me. When he finally caught up with me at the next light he told me that my LIGHTNING was very fast. Well I think I burst his bubble when I told him that my truck was just a regular F-150. He looked pissed after I told him that. I knew that when this light turned green that he was going to try to race me again so I proceeded to kill him again! O WELL!!!! 8-),LOL!!!

Had my first race last night. A red 99-00 F-250 Crew Cab pulled up next to me at a light, he had the "gangsta lean" going on (you know, where the driver leans way back and to the side in his seat)and gave my little truck the once over, turned to me and gave me a nod. He then pulled up a hair to where we were even on the line. The light turned green...now not being sure he wanted to race I gave it about 1/4 gas, heard him jump on his so I did too. I easily pull ahead of him (being lighter) and then my truck shifts to 2nd and slows. At this time he's catching up w/me but then... My truck takes off like a raped ape, then 3rd comes and by this time Im 3 1/2-4 truck lengths ahead of him, Im amazed. The traffic light ahead is turning red so its time to slow down. He stops next to me at the light (after Ive been there for a min now) and looks over once again and smiles and nods his head approvingly several times, then turns right at the light. "This is my story and Im sticking to it!"

HI!... Well everyone Neal got two tonight. The first one was a kid in a new S-10 EXTREME truck. The second was a ticket for speeding. OUCH!!!! The race only lasted about 5-6 seconds but that was enough time for the cop to get me locked in for 85kph in a 50kph zone. The ticket was for $255(CAN)!!!!! The kid in the s-10 was only up to about 60kph so the cop did'nt go after him. Don't worry guys this won't stop NEAL (the h.p freak) from stomping CHEVY's. Just now that my insurance is going to go sky high. The price we pay for speed. On the good side , I kicked that CHEVY's butt good!!! I'll have to pay more attention to those side streets a little better in the future.8-)
