Busted MIRROR - HELP!

I have a 2000 F150 Lariat that has a busted mirror on the drivers side. The vehicle is white so the mirror is also white with black plastic. All the wires for the electronics are just hanging there now. I am struggling to decide on either replacing the stock mirror from Ford ( Expensive ) or do aftermarket moirrors on both sides. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Mark

Check your local junkyard. Even if you don't find the same color, you could have it painted cheaper than buying a new one.

Yeah, I'd get a set of custom mirrors if it was me. Of course it's not me, but if it was I'd do it.,,,,98

Aftermarket would look strange, especially on a Lariat. I'd just go here..

Before you go out and purchase check with a Ford Dealer...when I had to replace my Lariat mirrors I used the 99 signal mirrors rather then the 98 but I don't think the bolt pattern on the 2000 and up are the same as earlier Lariat's. A check at the parts department of your Ford dealer could save you the headache of buying mirrors that don't have the same bolt pattern. You are right the Ford signal mirrors are not cheap...I think mine were around $250.00 a piece. Only good thing is they are not very hard to install.
