Klasse Questions

I'm going to purchase some Klasse SG. I noticed that some vendors recommend a base coat of Klasse All In One. Should I spend the extra $25. to do so or will the SG be fine by itself?

The Klasse SG is supposed to provide excellent UV protection and does not stain plastic trim or weatherstripping. Should I still try to avoid getting it on the trim or will it be a benefit to the trim as far as looks and protection?

Thanks guys,

Matt

I try to keep it off the trim. I makes no visible difference from what I could tell.

I use Klasse AIO. Klasse AIO cleans the surface so Klasse SG can bond. You can go without Klasse SG but most people do both Klasse AIO.

I'd go for Klasse AIO. One bottle of Klasse AIO will last years since you only use it when you strip all of the Klasse SG and start from scratch again.

Heck, the bottle of Klasse SG lasts a long time too.

yeah, I just applied some AIO. But I have a quick question, it got dark on me this evening after one application of AIO, should I wait till this weekend and wash it then apply the SG? Or should I wait till tomorrow evening and just apply the SG?

You can wait until tommorow or next weekend, but I would wash it again before putting on the SG. I use both and am very satisfied with them.

Doesn't really matter. Tomorrow or next weekend after AIO.

With Klasse SG you'll want to wait atleast 24 hours before the next coat. If you live in a humid area, then wait more than 24 hours before applying another coat of SG.

For some reason, I've got white specks on my paint after the AIO. They can be scratched off, so it's not in the paint, but I don't know where they are coming from.

When did the white specs appear?

I know if you leave Klasse AIO on the surface for a long time, then it gets really hard to buff off.

as I was buffing the AIO. But I was doing one section at a time with a Microfiber pad and buffing immediately with a terry cloth towel.
