Line-X over spray.
Good day all, I have a little problem with my new 2002 S'cab. Just got it back late Friday afternoon from getting the bed Line-Xed and on Saturday morning while checking it out noticed some overspray on the cab, upon further inspection found a LOT of overspray. Went back to Line-X and they say they may be able to remove it with a "clay" cleaning process, have an appointment on the 5th of July with them. I would like to know if this is possable are they just going to screw up my paint job even more?
Thanks for any help.
Thanks for any help.
I watched the guy remove my very light overspray (small dots on the rails) with a rag and some alcohol. I think it was a Denatured Alcohol. But if it's really thick I'd make them fix it, I'm sure you paid a good dollar for it.
Dealer subleted out removal of overspray and ex Line-X dealer (don't know the name of the prodect and they won't tell???) ate the cost of detail job. I think they used a acid type wash along with the clay bar as there is some staining at front bumper ends where they did not rinse the acid off good enough
. Other wise it came out good but when I washed it the other day paint did not bead up very well like a cheap or a quick type detail wax. Does any body know of a klassie dealer or where it is sold in the Sacramento CA area, or is it better to order from the internet? Thanks for any help....

Try a BMW dealership for Klasse. If not you can order it from Klassedirect.com
Ordered Klasse "Exterior protection kit" and tried it out this weekend. Works and looks great.
