Brands of carwash soap that actually clean

I understand from reading the posts that using dishwashing soap will strip the wax from my truck. But it seems the various brands of carwash soap I've tried (usual Turtle Wax types found in the typical car parts store) have almost no lather, and don't clean real well. They just sorta go flat even when using far more than is instructed. Anyone have any recommendations?

I've used Meguiar's Gold Class car wash and am currently using ProWax's Cherry Suds. Both foam up very high and work pretty well.

I put the proper amount in the bottom of a 5gal bucket and hit with a hard stream of water. Gives me a lot suds to work with and more suds than I would get if I just ran a open hose into the bucket.

I have also found cotton wash mitts create more suds than Microfiber washmitts.

I like to use Zaino Z-7 car wash. LOTS!!!! of suds to play with I like Pinnacle bodywork shampoo, and many others as well . Here is a site you might want to check out, just my $2

www.properautocare.com/wash---dry.html

I have up till recently buying there products. Good site and nice prices too I bought my MF wash mitt from there too.

One Grand Wash and Wax

One Grand, the co. that makes Blitz Wax, makes an excellent soap called 'Wash and Wax.' It is by far my favorite (I should point out I've never tried Zaino products), especially when used with Blitz Wax. I prefer soaps that don't get super sudsy myself; I find I can see the dirt better without all the suds, and the water tends to sheet off better, especially if you use the hose without any spray nozzle. I have found the wax job lasts longer when using One Grand's soap, too. If you like really sudsy soap, though, you wouldn't like this stuff.
You can get more info at www.onegrand.com. You can buy directly from their site, but I believe autosupermart.com has slightly better prices.
Hope this helps!

Well, I happened to be in the parts store and saw the Meguiars on the sale table. Clearly a sign from God, I bought it and used it last night. Worked great. Thanks again folks!

Meguires Gold Class. Best I've ever used. Very concentrated (in the small bottle). Bunches of bubbles.
