Collinite 845 Wax
Collinite 845 Wax
Has anyone tried the Collinite 845 sealant wax and put a too coat of ICE liquid wax on top for extra shine. I have read some about it and working well but I wanted to see if anyone has tried it on the tuxedo black yet
X2 on that! It works great all by itself and I've posted more than enough pics to prove it.

Yes. If you don't have any marring, swirls or the like you want to remove, then clay followed by the 845 will provide you a nice looking surface and some good protection.
Nope nothing wrong with the paint. It is a brand new truck only 700 miles on it so far. Just want to clay it first to get all the containaments off it from road salt and such before I use the 845 to seal it. Should I wash the truck after claying or just go from clay to wax. What yields best results?

Wash, then clay. If you use a QD as your clay lube, there is no reason to wash again. You can go straight to the 845.
Yeah I am using the quick detail. Ok then that works. Just wash, dry, clay, wax. That's what I'll do
Or clay right after you wash while the vehicle is still wet you will use less QD and dry the vehicle at the same time.
I use this trick quite a bit on sunny days to avoid water spots if I can't get the vehicle in my garage.
