Restore color around rear 97 rear window?

My 97 F150 has a solid rear window, and there is that strip of plastic that surrounds it. The color has faded over the years, and I am looking to restore it. Is there anything you guys recommend using?

Thanks

You can paint it as suggested, with something like Krylon Fusion, or you can dye it with something like Forever Black or Showroom New Restorer.

I get the Mothers back to black, works like a charm and you can pick it up at your local wal mart or auto parts store for under 10 bucks

Dammit! I just left Meijer with a bunch of auto detailing supplies and saw that stuff sitting there. Oh well, next time I'll grab it.

I will try the Back to Black stuff first, and if I am not happy with the results, I will just end up painting it.

Also, what would a heat gun do?

Agreed, I have two bottles that are going to meet my AR when I have time to get to the range. Either pop the trim off and paint it with Krylon fusion or hit with a heat gun but make sure you take it off in either case.
