Restore color around rear 97 rear window?
My 97 F150 has a solid rear window, and there is that strip of plastic that surrounds it. The color has faded over the years, and I am looking to restore it. Is there anything you guys recommend using?

Paint it...its what most everyone does

You can paint it as suggested, with something like Krylon Fusion, or you can dye it with something like Forever Black or Showroom New Restorer.

I get the Mothers back to black, works like a charm and you can pick it up at your local wal mart or auto parts store for under 10 bucks

I will try the Back to Black stuff first, and if I am not happy with the results, I will just end up painting it. Also, what would a heat gun do? |
