Sucked, but my truck looks better than any other in town. The wax didn't work too well, streaked a lot when buffing it out. But at least it has a coat of NXT ad it still looks better than it did.

I lived in FL last winter. Loved it cause I could detail any day I wanted.
Nice job; you're a better man than me. I can't seem to get off my butt and detail in the cold. I just keep my rims and wheel wells sprayed down at the wand wash. That's probably all I'll do until March or so.
The truck will probably never rust though.

looks nice and clean, i try to do mine about every other week year round unless theres salt and sand on the road from snow and ice being out then i go wash it as soon as the pavement starts to dry up otherwise its a waste for me going down the highway to work.
Haha, do what I do; wash your truck, then use your roommate/girlfriend/wives car when the roads are dirty.

Truck looks good. Thats what you have to do up here in the snow belt. I hate the salt, where I live they use a brine water salt solution and it is extremly hard on a vehicle. Its been decent up North lately so every other day I'm high preassure washing the truck. I can't wait to get my space heater for Christmas that way I can keep 'er alot cleaner.

Two months of that would pay for a handy dandy pressure washer (and soap/wax) all your own?

Just sayin'

I can't say I do not agree with you, however, I have no where to put a pressure washer. $100 a month on washes isn't killing me, so I'll keep it up.
Wish I could afford 100 a month right now to keep my truck clean. But yeah every 3 days is a bit extreme in my book. But props to you for doing it.
Something you may want to consider is washing and then applying wax to the rear wheel wells. Don't remove it.
