0000 steel wool

Would 0000 steel wool be ok a coated chrome wheels? Im selling them and I want them to look show room condition. I have them at about a 8/10 but theres a couple spots that need some TLC. I used Meguiars Hot Rims wheel chrome cleaner which did really well. Thanks fellas.

You should never use chrome cleaner or steel wool on COATED wheels. You must treat them like paint, because that's what the coating is! Clearcoat.

Yes if they are just chrome but if they had a teflon coating on them then no but I've never seen a chrome wheel with teflon coating mostly powder coated wheels

They may have standard automotive clear coat on them. If so, treat them like paint.

Did the rags turn black when you cleaned them with the Megs polish?
