I hope someone can give me a clue?
I'm new to this site--great so far!
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has info good/bad on the 2001 XLTs?

Last Fri. my '97 XLT pride and joy was totalled! The damage literally took my breath away when I got and looked. (Dude ran a red going 50 mph on my green arrow left.)

Well, the dealer has located a 2001 just like the one I had and I admit I'm scared wondering if it will be just as good/better? Is that possible?

My 1998 f-150 xlt has been perfect so far with the 4.6L engine. The 2001 trucks should be even better. Good luck in your decision.

The 4.6 is a great motor, as for the truck....number one in Texas!!! What can we say.....by the way what part of Texas are you in....as you can see I am in San Antonio...Dave

Thanks Dave! I am so happy I initially decided on my F150 back in '97. I sure was not happy w/the Taurus I owned. I'm getting excited and hope to get a pic on here if/when I get it. It's supposed to be in early next week. Of course I still have to drive it and look it over "real" good. lol Not sure where it's coming from, but it took a few days to find w/everything I had on my last one.
