How to clean grill water spots?

Looking for ideas on what to use to best remove water (?) spots from my 09 XLT grill??

Not sure what caused them, but I'm guessin it's from the stuff on the Colorado roads in the winter.

Thanks...I'll give it a try. Also read about using some dishwashing soap on a dryer fabric softener sheet.

If all else fails use Goo Gone. This stuff works wonders and won't harm paint or chrome.

Household grade white vinegar....wipe on, it will dissolve and neutralize the ph which is leaving the stain.......

Please don't wax it...it won't remove it, it will basically seal it. Not what you are trying to do.

Megs does make a AIO product, but it may not get it. Hate to admit it, but Beechkid is on the right path try the white vinegar first, its least aggressive. Make sure you wash the area after you TEST a spot. If that doesn't work, you may need to bump it up. Chemical Guys makes a hard water spot product. Not sure if it is safe on chrome plated surfaces or not.

Hard water spots are less likely to etch there than on your paint.

Have you tried using Stoners Glass Cleaner yet?

Can you post some photos of what you are working with?
