Post Badges

Has anyone taken there F150 badges of thier trucks? My truck is all black and I dont want anything on the sides or the back except for the ford emblem on the tailgate. Will it leave marks in the paint if I take them off?
Thank you

The same holes are under the side emblems as well.

Black Dawg,
As you know by now, it won't be cheap to completely eliminate the side emblems. I chose to paint them instead. Not being a professional painter, I scuffed the emblem with fine-grit sandpaper, masked the entire area and painted the emblem using spray lacker found in any auto parts store. Once dry, I used a few coats of clear lacker to give it more depth. It really looks great!
I can send pics if you post your e-mail.

I did something similar. I took the old 4x4 badges from the front grill/bumper area from a couple of late 80's trucks. 4x2's had a badge that said EFI instead. they were right below the driver side headlight. Anyway, I painted them black and mounted them under the F150 XLT Triton badge. They look awsome, sorry no pictures.
