seacrow, that seems to be an all too common problem. however the problem usually occurs most often after the wedding.

Question

Oh, oh. does that mean I have to get rid of the girlfriend after the wedding?

MarkS,
My girlfriend must have thought there was a wedding, she's already gained 20lbs. too.

I am sure glad she doesn't know about this site.

You just have to take the covers off and lube her up real good.

Maybe you can find another site to post these comments. I am wondering if this problem is fixable without replacing the motor!

Try Silicone spray on the window track. While you're at it, inspect the track on both sides of the window really well. I had a loose track once and the window was slow because it was moving the track up and down with the window. I just glued the track back to the frame and lubed it with silicone spray. Worked fine after that.
Good luck

Cool

Ford has "mini vent window lube" It's a silicone based goopy stuff. Squeeze it on your window channels and have fun. The stuff works miracles.

Just because WD-40 is "Made in San Diego" does NOT mean it should be used for everything.
WD-40 is a "water displacer". You need a "dry silicon lubricant" to spray the channels. Complain to the Service Manager that his "technicians" are NOT using the lubricant that Ford recommends. Ask him when they will be trained and certified to work on Fords!
Good Luck.
