I redue it every 30 days and never have a problem them The rain does not dry to the windshield and give me those damn water spots.

It depends on how much rain you get, and how well your application stays on! When you notice the rain isn't doing what you want, time to reapply!

I have been using Rain-X for over 10 years and love it. I cannot drive a car that does not have it. I live in Florida and we get A LOT of rain.

I apply it about once a month to all of the windows and twice a month to the front windshield. I put it on the side mirrors also. I apply it like wax with a clean cloth in circular motions and then use my damp chamois (Absorber) to remove it. Works great!

Once a month is the ticket! This is the best stuff!!

Also, if you wash your vehicle/windows frequently...you will need to apply it at least once a month.

There is a better product to use than Rain X. It is called Aquapel. It lasts alot longer than Rain x and doesn't leave a film on the window when it starts to wear off. It even repells water better than Rain x. Try it you'll like it!

I use rain-x on everything I have thats glass besides being a very good water repellent It will also help take off water spots. Also found the trick that makes getting the annoying film off after initial application of Rain-X. Apply liberally in circular motion. then use new [dry]papertowel to go over once and remove bulk of film. Then go over with a very damp new paper towel. Finally go over one more time with new[dry]paper towel and its spotless.Trying to get all of the film off with dry paper towels or rags is tiresome and annoying.

I agree..it really does help take off the water spots..however...I did discover that some of mine would not come off. I had to purchase their cleaning solution and that worked great.

I need to Rain-X all of my windows again...it has been a while now.

Here's another idea... buy the rain-x washer solvent... up here in MI, I do the side windos on my explorer about twice a year, but the front used to need to be re-applied at least once a month. With the rain-x solvent, I can go the entire winter without re-coating the windshield. It's only abour $2/gal up here, but regular solvent is about $1.20, so it's worth it.
