Advice on today's/tomorrow's detail

I finally have enough time to detail the truck, however due to the heat outside and lack of a garage, I'll have to start working on it this evening when it "cools" off a bit and resume early tomorrow morning. Due to this hiatus I must ask, if it's "ok" to leave a car overnight unfinished?

My procedure will be:
Wash
Clay
Deep Crystal Step 1
" " Step 2
Black Hole
EX-P
NXT 2.0 or Mother's Carnauba - this step is optional depending on how the truck looks after EX-P

*The PB stuff should be delivered today, if not I will just apply two coats of NXT 12 hours apart.*

With that procedure, can I leave the truck over night after let's say the Meg's Step 1? Then just QD the truck in the morning and resume with Step 2?

If your PB products don't arrive, I would wait to do the detail.

Why wouldn't they arrive? You live in Houston? You could have just drove to SM to pick them up....

Like JP said, wait for the detail. A full detail is something you only do every 3-4 months, usually, so to not wait would be stupid.

I most likely am going to get it in, I'm not too worried about that.

Assuming I get it in, can I split my detailing between the two days between the Meg's Step 1 and Step 2?

Do you plan on driving it between?

If so, I my advice is no. IMHO, always better to do a full detail in one shot that way you don't introduce any new contaminates back in the surface and drive them deeper when putt pad back to surface.

I can tell you are anxious to get going, i have no patience either, however, do it right.

Nope, no driving afterwards. It will be in the driveway.

Edit: Who knows, maybe I'll be able to get it all done today. As all of this is done by hand it's going to take longer, plus my arms are going to want to fall off.

Put it in the garage if you can, if you have one.

I've done half a detail before and left it in the garage overnight while I got some sleep. Usually I just clay the night before then get started 6-7am Sat. morning. Lots of coffee in the morning.. Lots of beer once it gets hot..

I'd rewash if it's going to sit outside. Possibly QD, depending on how dirty it gets.

I'm lucky and have a garage for my full details. I do a lot of it one night and than the next morning.
