If you search around you'll find plenty of info on it. I haven't done it but people have said basically you need to get the sticker warm, hot sun or a hair dryer. I think the hair dryer would work best.

Then peel it off, you might be able to get a corner up with your fingernail, that would be the safest way. Others have talked about using plastic razor blades or a putty knife with duct tape over the edge so it won't scratch the paint. Plastic razor blades can cause some scratching so it might need to be polished afterwards. And although some people have said the tape over putty knife thing works I'd be pretty nervous, if the tape wore through you'd have some major problems.

Also bear in mind that since you have an 04 there's a good possibility that the paint may not match underneath the stickers since it's likely the rest of the paint will have faded some.

But in any case be careful and good luck!

a heat gun will work better than a hair dryer if you have one

Do not use a putty knife with the end covered in duct tape. Use a hair drier and your finger nail as LRG mentioned. Then use some WD-40 and wipe off the residue. After RockPick told the story of the pin stripe lady, and putty knife escapade, I solemnly swear, I will never recommend using the putty knife and duct tape trick again.

Gosh... we need to make this a sticky or something. We're getting this question once or twice per week in here. LOL!

thanks for the input. i've heard of using a hair dryer on dealer stickers, but wasn't sure if the factory logos came off the same way.

Usually living life by the seat of my pants, it is of my humble opinion one would have to have some pretty big gazonga's to use a paint stripping heat gun. I like it.
